If Kathmandu is Nepal’s cultural capital, Pokhara is its adventure capital. A charming city set in a peaceful valley, it serves as the starting point for several of Nepal’s most renowned trekking and rafting routes. The scene around Phewa Lake’s coast is one of exhilarating liveliness, with hipster backpackers crowding the various pubs and restaurants, sharing suggestions on guest homes and vistas, both by the lake and above the clouds.
