Leave for Kandy after breakfast. Visit Dambulla en route. Dambulla cave complex goes back to the third and second century BC in Sri Lankan history. It was already well established as one of the largest monasteries in Sri Lanka before the construction of the complex. UNESCO has designated the Dambulla caverns as a World Heritage Site. Visit NalandaGedige, Sri Lanka’s Abu Simbel, if you enjoy bird viewing. The NalandaGedige is one of several notable archaeological monuments in Sri Lanka, after which you may visit a spice garden and a batik workshop in Matale. On the way to Kandy In the evening, arrive at a hotel in Kandy, Sri Lanka’s traditional art capital, and see the shrine of Buddha’s precious tooth relic.

After breakfast, travel to Pinnawela to see the elephant orphanage. This orphanage was founded to feed, nurture, and shelter young elephants who had been abandoned by their mothers. Then go to Kataragama, a holy city. The Elephant, observed in small and huge herds during the nighttime safari in Yala Park by vehicle, is without a doubt the most well-known sight in Yala. Entire the park, spotted deer herds may be seen. Pinkish rhesus monkeys and Grey-faced Langur Monkeys dwell and play in the treetops and on the ground below. Wild buffalo and wild boar may surprise you, and seeing a leopard sunning itself or sipping water at a water hole may be a remarkable experience.

Leave for Galle after breakfast. View the Still fishermen of Weligama fishing the way, then explore the Old Portuguese fort, restored and enlarged by the Dutch and still in good condition. The fort is still where the majority of Galle’s governance takes place. The view from the ramparts is spectacular. The Galle Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Asia’s biggest existing European-built fortification. Continue on your way to Colombo.
Visit the interesting city of Colombo in the evening, which connects the past with the present. You will see the fort, the commercial district, “Pettah” Colombo’s the busy market area, a cinnamon garden full of big houses, and more. Kelaniya’s Buddhist temple is a must-see.
