Overview
Kerala, often known as “God’s Own Country,” is a picturesque state in southern India on the Malabar Coast, endowed with distinctive physical features which have made it one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in India. Kerala is surrounded by backwaters, beautiful hill stations, wildlife, and rich culture and legacy.
You will see important cities and beaches in South India, including Mangalore, Bekal, Wayanad, Kozhikode (Calicut), Cochin, Thekkady, Kumarakom, Quilon, Varkala, and Kovalam. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Aside from that, you will visit the key sites in Mumbai.

Day 01: Arrive in Mumbai
Upon your arrival in Mumbai, our airport representative will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.
Overnight you will stay at your hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Mumbai which covers major Mumbai destinations such as the Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Garden, Marine Drive, VidhanSabha, Malabar Hill, and Dhobi Ghat. Spend the evening at leisure on the Chowpatty beach.

Day 03: Mumbai – Mangalore by flight & Mangalore – Bekal by road (65km/01 hrs)
After breakfast, you will board your flight to Mangalore. Upon your arrival at Mangalore airport, our driver will meet and greet you there and then drive to Bekal. Check into the hotel and unwind for a bit. In the evening, visit Bekal Fort, Kerala’s largest and best-preserved fort, which is located along the Arabian Sea.

Day 04: Bekal – Wayanad by road (185km/04 hrs)
After breakfast, you will go to Wayanad. In the afternoon, you will go to Vythiri to explore Lakkidi, which is located at an elevation of 700 meters and serves as the gateway to Wayanad. It is also one of the highest places in Wayanad. Take in the scenery, including the peaks, streams, and woods. Do not miss a visit to Pookot Lake, which is surrounded by lovely trees.

Day 05: Wayanad sightseeing
Today, you will have a visit to the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary. Another sight worth seeing is the Wayanad Heritage Museum, which has a variety of regional items.

Day 06: Wayanad – Calicut (90km 03hrs)
After breakfast, you will go to Kozhikode (Calicut). Check into the hotel upon your arrival. After that, go on a half-day tour to Mananchira, which includes the palace tank renovated into an architectural masterpiece, the Marine Life Aquarium, and the jetties at Kozhikode beach. You will also visit Kappad, the port of entry for Vasco da Gama into India.

Day 07: Calicut – Kochi (180km 04 hrs)
Early in the morning, go over to Dolphin’s Point to see dolphins playing in the water. After breakfast, you will drive to Cochin (Kochi). Check into your hotel upon arrival. In the evening, you may simply relax or go shopping at one of the renowned markets.

Day 08: Kochi – Thekkady (155km 04 hrs)
After breakfast, you will have a sightseeing tour of Kochi, which will include the European legacy of Kochi Fort, Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis’ Church, the Dutch Palace, and the Jewish Synagogue. You will next drive to Thekkady. From Kumily to Thekkady, spend an evening shopping in handicraft and spice shops.

Day 09: Thekkady sightseeing
Take a boat ride around Periyar Lake in the early morning. Following breakfast, you may participate in a variety of activities in the Periyar Tiger Reserve, including a Nature Walk, Jungle Patrol, Bamboo Rafting, Border Hiking, or a Bullock Cart ride.

Day 10: Thekkady – Kumarakom (120km 03 hrs)
This morning, after a delicious breakfast, you will travel to Kumarakom. When you arrive, check into a houseboat. Enjoy the scenery or go for a walk to explore the area. Spend the day as you like.

Day 11: Kumarakom
Today, you will drive towards the embarkation point to board your houseboat. Cruise across the picturesque terrain, paddy fields, villages, and coconut trees. Lunch and supper will be served aboard the ship.

Day 12: Kumarakom – Quilon (Kollam) (35km 01hrs)
After breakfast, you will disembark at Totally. Your journey to Quillon (Kollam) begins here. Check into the hotel upon arrival. You can rest and enjoy yourself at the beach.

Day 13: Quilon (Kollam) – Varkala (35km 45 minutes)
After breakfast, you will proceed for exploring a beautiful seaside hamlet, Thangesseri. Visit the remains of Portuguese and Dutch forts, ancient churches, built during the 18th century, a 3 km long beach, and a 100-year old lighthouse. Late evening, set off for Varkala, by road. Upon arrival at Varkala, check into the hotel.

Day 14: Varkala – Kovalam (50km 01 hrs)
This morning you will drive towards Kovalam. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Rest of the day you can relax and enjoy yourself at the Kovalam beach.

Day 15: Kovalam
After breakfast, you will visit three of Kovalam’s most popular beaches: Samudra Beach, Lighthouse Beach, and Hawah Beach. Enjoy some sunbathing, a leisurely walk, and so forth.

Day 16: Kovalam – Trivandrum (17km/25minutes)
This morning our driver will transfer you from the hotel to the Trivandrum airport to board the flight back home.
