Overview
The southern part of India is home to thousands of well-known wildlife sanctuaries with a diverse range of animal species. Because of the Indian subcontinent’s geo-climatic complexity, it supports and shelters a diverse range of animals, including roughly 350 species of mammals and 1200 species of birds. You will visit prominent wildlife reserves like Nagarhole, BR Hills, Bandipur, Eravikulam, Periyar, and Kumarakom throughout the journey. The trip also includes visits to Ooty and Kochi for sightseeing.
Each region has something unique to offer. The Bengal Tiger and the Asiatic Elephant may be found across the region.

Day 01: Arrive in Bangalore
Assistance upon your arrival at Bangalore airport, our airport representative will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 02: Bangalore Sightseeing
Today, you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Bangalore. You will go on a sightseeing trip to Bangalore today. You will see some of the city’s major tourist destinations, such as GaviGangadhareshwara Temple, Bull Temple at Basavanagudi, Tipu’s Palace, Lalbagh Botanical Garden, VidhanaSoudha (only from the outside), Cubbon Park, Visvesvaraya Technological Museum, and ISKCON Temple. Later in the evening, you might go shopping on Commercial Street.

Day 03: Bangalore – Nagarhole (220km/05 hrs)
This morning you will proceed to Nagarhole National Park, which is also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park. With a healthy prey-predator ratio and a robust population of tigers, elephants, and Indian bison, the park enjoys a healthy prey-predator ratio. Upon arrival check into the hotel. The afternoon is set out for a jeep safari tour of the national park. During the safari, look for leopards, wild dogs, sambars, barking deer, spotted deer, wild boars, Indian rock pythons, common toads, scimitar babblers, four-horned antelopes, and 270 bird species.

Day 04: Nagarhole National Park
You will begin your day with a variety of activities. There will be an early morning wildlife safari. In addition, there is a bird screening in the park and a Coracle tour on the Kabini River. In the evening you will enjoy an elephant ride or a jeep excursion into the park.

Day 05: Nagarhole National Park – BR Hills (167km/04 hrs)
This morning you will travel to B R Hills, also known as BiligiriRangan Hills, after breakfast. Check-in your tents once you arrive. Later, go on a hiking expedition to see the amazing fauna of the BR Hills region. Take in the lovely vegetation that surrounds you.

Day 06: BR Hills
The BiligiriRangaSwamy Temple Animal Sanctuary, also known as the BRT Wildlife Sanctuary, is open for wildlife gazing and bird watching in the morning and evening. This 540-kilometer-long park is home to a varied animal population that includes Sloth Bear, Deer, Black-naped Hare, Common Langur, Indian Pangolin, Small Indian Civet, the uncommon Four-horned Antelope, Clawless Otter, Indian Porcupine, and around 254 avifauna species.

Day 07: BR Hills – Bandipur National Park (90km/02hrs)
Today you will travel to Bandipur National Park, one of the most well-known wildlife sanctuaries in South India. It’s also one of the best-preserved ones. You will check into the hotel upon arrival. After a scrumptious lunch, go on a jeep safari inside the park.

Day 08: Bandipur National Park
The park offers animal viewing in the mornings and evenings, as well as bird watching. Tigers, sloth bears, muggers, Indian rock pythons, chital, gray langurs, Indian giant squirrels, Indian chameleon, Indian pond terrapin, hoopoes, Indian rollers, brown fish owls, crested serpent eagles, and other animal species may be found in the park .

Day 09: Bandipur National Park – Ooty (41km/01 hrs)
This morning, you will travel to Ooty, well known as the “Queen of Hill Stations.” Every year, a large number of people visit this hill town in South India. Check into your hotel upon arrival. Spend the day at your leisure, visiting major attractions such as Ooty Lake and the Botanical Garden, shopping at the local market, interacting with the people, strolling through the tea farms, and so on.

Day 10: Ooty – Eravikulam via Munnar (235km/06 hrs)
After breakfast, you will go to Eravikulam National Park. On the way, you will stop in Munnar, a lovely and well-known hill region in Kerala. It is also recognized as the state’s spice capital. Get a ride to Eravikulam National Park. Check into your hotel upon arrival. The remainder of the day is free for leisure activities such as taking a nature walk or simply admiring the gorgeous vegetation surrounding you.

Day 11: Eravikulam National Park – Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (94km/03hrs)
Get a morning wildlife safari inside the national park, which is the habitat of the endangered NilgiriTahr of South India. Other animal species you could see on your safari are the NilgiriLangur, leopard, tiger, Indian bison, Sambar Deer, Golden Jackal, Jungle Cat, Wild dog, Dhole, leopard, Nilgiri Pipit, Nilgiri Wood Pigeon, White Bellied Shortwing, NilgiriVerditer Flycatcher, and more. After lunch, drive to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is well-known for its elephant and tiger reserves. Check into the hotel upon arrival. The day is free to appreciate the surrounding beautiful scenery and go for a nature stroll.

Day 12: Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
On the inside of the sanctuary, there are boat rides in the morning and evening. See elephants, sambars, tigers, gaurs, lion-tailed macaques, Nilgiri langurs, mongooses, foxes, leopards, barking deer, mouse deer, dholes, and over 320 fauna and flora species.

Day 13: Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – Kumarakom (117km/03hrs)
Today, you will drive to Kumarakom, a well-known tourist destination. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Enjoy the day doing things that interest you, such as exploring the surroundings on foot or visiting popular sights such as Vembanad Lake, where you may take a boat ride.

Day 14: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary
After breakfast, take a backwater cruise among coconut palms, paddy fields, and surrounding villages. Later, transfer to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, a haven for bird-watching aficionados. Upon arrival check into the hotel. During your bird viewing trip, look for ducks, cuckoos, owls, egrets, herons, parrots, teal, larks, flycatchers, wood beetles, and migrating birds like the Siberian Crane.

Day 15: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary – Kochi (78km/02hrs) Kochi – Onward destination by flight
This morning you will travel to Kochi. After arriving, the day will be spent exploring, which may include visits to Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruise Basilica, and other sites. After supper, take an on-time shuttle to the airport to catch a flight back home.
