Overview
Northern India and Nepal Tour are intended to allow you to experience the exciting traditions of the two adjacent countries. During the journey, you will see the major tourist destinations in Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Khajuraho, and Varanasi. Later on, the journey brings you to Nepal, a place of everlasting beauty, ancient history, and gorgeous landscape. This journey allows you to see well-known locations in northern India as well as Nepal. When in Nepal, you will visit significant cultural sites such as Chitwan, Pokhara, and Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrive in Delhi
Upon your arrival in Delhi, our airport representative will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.
After a long flight, you will relax at the hotel and prepare for the next day’s sightseeing.
Overnight you will stay at your hotel.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
The morning after delicious breakfast you will be on a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. You will start your tour from Old Delhi where you will visit Jama Masjid, Red Fort (view from outside), ChandniChowk, and you will also enjoy a rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to ChandniChowk.
After lunch, you will visit the Humayun Tomb and the Qutub Minar. You will be driving past the parliament house, president’s house, and other government buildings on Rajpath. After you complete the sightseeing, our driver will drop you at the hotel.

Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur (260km/05hrs)
Today, you will proceed to pink city Jaipur. Upon arrival check into the hotel. After freshen up, the remainder of the day is free to explore the city’s ambiance. You may explore the surrounding area on foot, eat traditional Rajasthani cuisine, and mingle with the locals. Overnight you will stay at your hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur sightseeing
Today you will enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Jaipur. First, you will drive to Amber which is just 13 km from Jaipur city center. Where you will see the marvelous monument of Amber Fort and you will also enjoy the elephant ride there.
Later you will come back from Amber Fort and take some photos near the JalMahal. Afternoon you will visit City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa mahal. Evening you can walk near the local market of Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur – Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (258km/05hrs)
On this day, you will travel to Taj city Agra by road. En route 40 km away from Agra you will visit Fatehpur Sikri a UNESCO world heritage site.Fatehpur Sikri is an ancient abandoned town built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. You will then continue to drive to Agra. Upon arrival check into the hotel.

Day 06: Agra sightseeing
Early morning during the sightseeing you will visit the beautiful TajMahal which is also known as the symbol of love. Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built this monument for the memories of his most lovable wife Mumtaj.
After complete the sightseeing of the TajMahal, you will return to the hotel for breakfast. Later visit the Agra Fort which is just a few miles away from the TajMahal. You can also see the panoramic view of the TajMahal from this fort.

Day 07: Agra = Jhansi by train & Jhansi – Khajuraho (175km/04hrs)
This morning you will transfer to Agra railway station to board the train for Jhansi. Upon arrival at Jhansi railway station, our representative will assist you at the railway station and then you will drive you to Khajuraho. Upon your arrival at Khajuraho, check into the hotel. After freshen up you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Eastern and Western temple groups. These temples, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, were built during the reign of the Chandela kings.

Day 08: Khajuraho –Varanasi by flight
This morning you will transfer to Khajuraho airport to board the flight for the holy city Varanasi. Upon your arrival at Varanasi airport, our representative will meet and assist you there. And then you will move to the hotel. Upon arrival check into the hotel. After freshen up you will visit Sarnath, where Gautama Buddha gave his first sermon and taught the Dharma. Later you will come back to the hotel.

Day 09: Varanasi sightseeing
Early morning you will enjoy a boat ride along the bathing ghats. The vivid image of devout Hindus washing in the river and giving prayers in the early morning sunlight makes the experience highly gratifying. Return to your accommodation for breakfast before embarking on a quick city tour of Banaras Hindu University, the Golden Temple, and the Bharat Mata Temple, devoted to Mother India.

Day 10: Varanasi – Shivpati Nagar (300/07hrs)
Today, after breakfast you will drive towards Shivpati Nagar. Stop along the road to Kushinagar, a tiny village where Gautam Buddha gained Nirvana. Check into your hotel upon arrival at Shivpati Nagar. Later, visit Kapilvastu, where Buddha spent his infancy and adolescence

Day 11: Shivpati Nagar – Chitwan (119km/2 hrs)
Late morning you will proceed to Chitwan by road. En route, you will visit Lumbini – the birthplace of Buddha which is now an important Buddhist pilgrim center. Upon your arrival at Chitwan, check into the hotel. Rest of the day you can enjoy the ambiance of this place.

Day 12: Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park will be your destination for jungle activities like nature walks and bird viewing. You may go on an elephant safari at Nepal’s first national park. During your safari in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you may see animals such as the Mugger Crocodile, Bengal Tiger, One-horned Rhino, White-throated Kingfisher, Male Paradise Flycatcher, and others.

Day 13: Chitwan National Park – Pokhara (83km/02hrs)
This morning, you’ll drive to Pokhara, a popular tourist destination in Nepal. Check into your hotel upon arrival in Pokhara. The afternoon is open for a stroll around the lake. Take in a natural beauty that surrounds you.

Day 14: Pokhara sightseeing
Enjoy a one-hour boat trip on Phewa Lake, one of the most beautiful places in the country. This lovely lake is surrounded by woods and snow-capped hills. Later, don’t forget to pay a visit to the adjacent temple, which is located in the midst of the lake. Later, you visit Sarangkot, a typical Nepalese hamlet where you may walk about, engage with the residents, and see their way of life.

Day 15: Pokhara – Kathmandu (146km/03 hrs)
Today, you will proceed to Kathmandu by road. Upon your arrival, check into the hotel. The afternoon is allocated for leisure affairs such as mingling with locals and tasting local cuisine.

Day 16: Kathmandu sightseeing
After breakfast, you will explore Bhaktapur, an old Nepalese town that is a World Heritage Site and is recognized for its rich culture, temples, and artworks. Later, you will have Darshan at the Pashupatinath temple, an important Hindu shrine devoted to Lord Shiva. You will also visit Boudhnath, a World Heritage Site that includes one of the world’s largest ancient stupas.

Day 17: Kathmandu sightseeing
On this day, you will visit Kathmandu, Nepal’s main city, and Patan, also known as Mangal, which is famed for its traditional art and craft. You will see the Hanuman Durbar Square, Kopan Monastery, Dakshinkali Temple, and other attractions. Cover destinations in Patan such as Patan Durbar Square, Patan Museum, Mahabouddha Temple etc.

Day 18: Kathmandu – Delhi by flight
This morning you will transfer to Kathmandu airport to board the flight for Delhi. Where you will board your flight back home.
